Can't quite tell why I've enjoyed shooting on film recently. It slows you down, which is a different experience than "spraying" with a DSLR. I'm also inherently a nostalgic guy so maybe the the color tones of film seem to create some sort of emotional latitude. Maybe I'm just searching for all that room between 1 and 0. I wonder if in twenty years people will be trying to achieve an old, pixely, digitally look. Like, will Instagram have an iPhone 3G filter?
